The back side has Beautiful Old Style Victorian etchings on it. On the inside you can add your Medications, Pictures, Cherished Keepsakes or whatever on both sides. Since they are a solid back, you could go down in size a little if you had an odd size cameo, cabochon, glass, or whatever you want to try & fit. These have never been used, very nice looking and solidly made.
