Brookfield Engineering Thermo Container for Thermosel System Hot Metal Viscosity

This listing is for the thermosel unit and small tool that you see in the photos. I believe that it part of a thermosel system that can be found on the internet. I think that it is called a thermo container. I purchased it at an estate sale where I was not told its nature. The metal tag on the bottom of it reads, “Brookfield Eng. Lab. Inc. Stoughton, Mass. Volts 115 Hz 50/60 Ser. No. 11-68937”. The small tool that you see was with it when I purchased it. I think that it is probably intended to be used with it. The thermo container measures close to 7 1/2 inches high. It weighs close to 4 pounds 11.4 ounces. I think that the thermosel system has something to do with the measuring the viscosity of hot liquids like metals.
The condition is much like you see it in the photos. I have no way of testing it so it is being sold “as is”. I do not know if it works or not. Cosmetically, it shows some signs of use but I do not see any signs of trauma that might have broken it. The round bubble level works fine. Otherwise, it is cosmetically generally fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of its general condition.
I guarantee this thermo container and tool to be as described and represented by the 16 photos after the general description. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them.
Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure.

I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
