From Amazon: The fantastic glasses from the manufacturer Daum Freres are considered - besides the creations from Emile Galle - to be the byword for French Jugendstil and art nouveau. Never before or after this period there was a more outstanding production of glass. The absolutely beautiful glass objects of this era have nothing lost of their inspiring magic till our days. The splendid photographs of over 100 vases, lamps, boxes, and bowls from the private Buettiker collection make this volume another important contribution from the unparalleled Nancy art nouveau period.
