THIS ITEM IS NOT METAL - IS IS A PLASTIC PLATE COVERED WITH AN IMAGE USING THE DECOUPAGE TECHNIQUE.
NO CODE VIOLATION ~ ABSOLUTELY SAFE FOR PERSONAL HOME USE.
All of my switchplates and outlet covers are handcrafted by me using a variety of material - fabric, wallpaper, art work etc. The material is decoupaged onto the plate, and then sealed and covered for a nice, durable finish that can be wiped clean, if necessary.   Each plate is custom made, after the buyer purchases the item.
I carry single, double and triple switch plates, outlet covers, GFI rocker plates in all sizes, etc...just let me know what you need and I'll be happy to make a listing for you.
Please note that on the GFI type plates (with the larger openings), a large part of the plate has to be cut out.
ITEMS ARE CUSTOM MADE AND ARE NON-RETURNABLE UNLESS THERE IS A FLAW IN WORKMANSHIP, IN WHICH CASE I WILL EXCHANGE THE PLATE.

Single (standard) 2.75  inches wide X 4.50 inches tall
Outlet (standard) 2.75 inches wide X 4.50 inches tall
Double Toggle 5 inches wide X 5 inches tall
Triple Toggle 4.50 inches tall X 6.38 inches wide
Single GFI 2.75 wide X 4.50 inches tall
Double GFI 4.5 inches wide X 4.50 inches tall

Please note that I do not keep an inventory of pre-made switchplate or outlet covers.  Each plate is custom made after you purchase them (the date your payment is received).  For this reason I ask for TEN BUSINESS days to complete and ship your order.
SOME OTHER SELLERS ONLY PLACE THE PATTERN ON THE FRONT OF THE PLATE, SO THAT MUCH OF THE BORDER OF THE PLATE IS UNCOVERED.  I WRAP THE COVERING AROUND THE ENTIRE PLATE FOR  A  SECURE FINISH AND A HIGHER QUALITY, MUCH MORE PLEASING APPEARANCE.
