Dyno tested and a big improvement in air flow over stock this intake kit will increase power throughout the RPM range. On a stock completely stock Maverick this intake made an additional 6.5 horsepower throughout the acceleration range with a consistent increase in torque. This equals out to consistently faster acceleration from stopped to the rev limit!
Additional modifications will allow a power increase at any performance stage. With our stage 3 pwrTune ECU reflash this intake helped make over 143 wheel HP at 13psi, that is just over 171 calculated motor horsepower!
The intake tube has welded on provisions for your crankcase vent hose and waste gate vent line. Some modification to the stock plastic trim pieces is required.
This air filter system seals tightly and will not easily allow dirt/sand into your intake tract. When used with a water a repellant outerwears it is safe for use in most weather conditions not including deep water crossings. For rain or heavy mud conditions use with the optional K&N Apollo air filter and snorkel.
