Here is a Starrett No. 196 dial indicator set that is in excellent condition. These tools have been used??? Obviously not very much. You really have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on any of them. The previous owner put his/ her initials on the cover of the case. I camouflaged them with a piece of red duct tape. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used indicator set. No. 196 dial indicator works great. The plunger moves easily with no hesitations and always returns to "0". Smooth! The clear plastic lens is crystal clear because I just replaced it! Included with this set is are a bunch of different tools and points used for different applications. The red protective case is also in good condition. It has done a very good job of protecting these tools. It has suffered some scratches, scuffs, and a ding or two from doing its job. It opens and closes easily, latches shut, and holds these tools securely.
