STM-IV(B) Digital Rotating Viscometer Stormer Viscosity Meter of Temp Display
1. Summary:
▲The stom viscometer is used for the determination of paint and other KU indicating the viscosity of the coating. The instrument can display the KU value of the measured sample viscosity or the load value associated with the KU value (unit: G).
▲The instrument is controlled by a computer. The blade of a stirred blade (also called a rotor) is driven by a constant speed motor at a speed of 200r/min. The resistance moment of the impeller in the measured sample is converted by a computer to the KU value. (Krebs (Krebs) unit (KU) is a logarithmic function of the load required to produce 200r/min speed, which is generally used to represent the speed of the 200r/min. It is used for the viscosity of the brush and roll. The operator only needs to enter the stirred blade into the measured depth and read the KU value of the sample or the relative load value directly from the instrument. The operator is simple and convenient to operate. The rotor is not needed to change the rotor in the whole measurement range (the rotor is the main part of the connection sensor, the improper installation will affect the measurement accuracy). This instrument is in accordance with the ASTM-D562 and GB/T9269-2009 standards.

Four. Operation and use:
1. remove the instrument from the packaging box and put it on the worktable.
2. remove the stirring blade from the packing box, insert it into the sleeve of the rotating shaft, and fix it with the top tightening screw.
3. plug in the power plug, open the power switch on the back, the system starts to self check, the system will enter the standby state after the completion of the self test, and the display will display "-".
4. put the tested sample in the container which the instrument comes from, the liquid level is about 10mm from the container port.
5. put the container on the container seat on the container to be tested and select the unit of measurement ("KU") to indicate the KU value of the sample to be tested, and "GM" to indicate the load value. Press down the lifting handle, immerse the stirring blade into the sample to be tested, and the marking line on the blade axis of the impeller is aligned with the liquid level, and the instrument automatically starts running.
6. after a few seconds, the monitor displays the viscosity value of the sample to be measured, which can be read at this time. (the sample must be stirred for a few seconds to achieve dynamic balance, and the data displayed can be considered accurate, without the display of the data before the instrument "--").
7. after the measurement is completed, the lifting handle is lifted to the height, and there is a limited bit device near the highest position, so that the instrument can always be kept in this position. The instrument stops turning and reenters the standby state.
8. the instrument has built-in smart display stabilisation program, so that each reading is stable and readable to the operator. If you want to measure different units of measurement without shutting down, just switch the selector switch to the unit of measurement you need.

1. there are precise measuring parts in the instrument cabinet.
2. this instrument is a special instrument. Please do not open the instrument shell by itself, so as not to affect the accuracy of instrument measurement.
